Fliquet Bay is located on the far north-eastern corner of Jersey just north of St Catherine’s breakwater. Fliquet Bay enjoys panoramic views and it is possible to see France on a clear day.
Fliquet Bay has a mixture of pebbles, sand and rock it is sheltered from Westerly and south Westerly winds.
There are the compacted remains of Carex swamp peat which have been sampled for archaeological reasons to reveal what life was like during the ice age in Jersey.
There is a Martello tower, a slip, a bench and lots of nature which comes right down to the tide line in this unspoilt bay.
Remarkably picturesque and unspoilt you feel like a time traveller sitting by the sea at Fliquet where little has changed for hundreds of years.
This really is a bay where you go to escape the hustle and bustle, you can sit and enjoy the best of nature undisturbed when you go to Fliquet Bay.
