Randall’s brew Breda lager and Patois cask conditioned ale at their state-of-the-art La Piette brewery. There are conducted tours for the public on Saturday mornings at 11 o’clock. Tours last approximately an hour, cost £5.00 per person and include a free pint of lager/ale.

TORTEVAL SCARECROW FESTIVAL

This very popular event takes you through a beautiful area of the south west of Guernsey. Traditional Show exhibits will be on show: vegetables, flowers, home-made produce etc. Entries will be from anyone living in St Martin’s, Forest, St Andrew’s and St Peter Port parishes. There are classes for adults and children. Alongside this event, we also run an Arts & Crafts event. There will also be held the South Show Horse event. Place: St Martin’s Community Centre

Celebrating 100 years, agricultural and horticultural traditions are on show on Guernsey’s west coast, as well as an array of local costume. As well as entertainment within the arena area, there will also be fairground rides, various competition entries to view, music, refreshments and much more for all ages.

This popular annual event will include a variety of charity stalls, crown and anchor, not forgetting the donkey races! A tote will be set-up to enable you to have a “flutter” and a beer tent will be open for refreshments. PLace: Saumarez Park

Enjoy the history of yesteryear with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight including the Lancaster, the Hurricane and the Spitfire with the flying precision of The Blades, the Breitling Wing Walkers and the sound and sight of the Red Arrows. Watch it where you can!

An exhibition of Nerines or “Guernsey Lilies” as they are popularly known. Hundreds of varieties in a wide range of colours will be on show. The bulbs are from the collection held by the Guernsey branch of the National Council for the Conservation of Plants and Gardens. Entry is free. A selection of Nerines will be on sale. INTERNATIONAL CHESS FESTIVAL

This popular Festival attracts many players of all ages from across Europe. Whilst primarily for amateur players, several Grandmasters and International Masters have previously taken part. A seven round, FIDE rated, Swiss competition with cash prizes. Place: Peninsula Hotel
