The first building at La Mare Wine Estate was in 1600 with a lot of the structure you see now being built in 1797. Apples have need traditionally grown here for centuries specifically to produce alcohol.

The La Mare Estate guided tour takes you around the beautiful vineyards, orchards, the Cognac style distillery and the chocolate production kitchen.
